I see many negative reviews for Klaussner, as I have owned my set for 12 years we spent over 3000. for this then, and it has been thoroughly beaten on and abused by 3 children from little to teens.

Spills of all sorts have been done on our 3 piece set. We have a Sofa, Love seat and a large chaise. After about 6 years I began removing the cushion covers and washing them, it was that or purchase a new set. Even though we had it treated with scotch guard it was necessary.

Came out beautifully every time. In the last two years the springs in the chaise have begun to sag and the seat cushions are compacted/squished pretty much. Remember 3 very rough teens plop on this ALOT! (a 75lb dog has claimed the chaise as well) Sadly, we need new furniture and I wanted to purchase another durable set.

I was surprised to see so much negative, then noticed the review stating that the ones made in North Carolina are quality, the ones over seas are not...so I looked at my set and it does say made with pride in North Carolina, USA. So I'm saying that must be what you should look for.

My cushions have been washed 100's of times and other then a tad bit of fade the set has been good to our family.

Reason of review: Good quality.

Location: Middletown Township, New Jersey

I just bought a smaller sectional couch from Craigslist and it needs a good cleaning but not sure what to use and afraid to unzip and wash since it might turn out a different color from the rest lol and I need to clean the Ottoman and that doesn't unzip.Whats the best to use on it? I believe the fabric is like a crushed velvet

Our Klaussner sofa, loveseat, and oversize chair & ottoman have been amazing.

... I'm afraid to buy anything new...

Maybe I will eventually try the Magnolia Market collection when we eventually replace furniture.

Our Klaussner sofa set cost a lot at the time (I believe about 10 yrs ago) They are 8-way hand tied and the cushions are still wonderfully fluffy (layered in down)

I would love, however to buy slipcovers for them...but they are very large pieces with loose back pillows. The original fabric is still amazing, but I'm kind of tired of the print, it's a bit outdated -

I'm ready for a solid color now that pets are gone and kids are grown.

Why donโ€™t you simply have set reupholstered? The cost may be less than buying a brand new set.
