WORST couch ever!!!!

Bought a Klaussner couch locally, it made all kind of noises (wood creaking & cracking), finally it broke, I'm not even 150 lbs. The wood broke where they ignored the knot in the wood that was at a critical point inside the couch.

Instead of replacing, furniture store came up and "fixed it", never stopped making the noises to THIS very day (2023). The cushions were flat (back & seat) in NO time. I have major back issues and this has contributed to it! I'm now in PT and this couch is history.

I will never shop at that store again (Sidney, OH), nor will I so much as look at Klaussner anything! I'm not rich at all, so I've had to suffer and endure this couch!

ZERO STARS!!! JUNK LEATHER RECLINER FALLING APART

Purchased 2019. In 2022 see something hanging.

It's a support strap, webbing. Turn recliner over and frame is missing bolt or screw. Webbing all shredding due to frame sinking because of no bolt. Klaussner sent repairman who said entire chair would need reconstructed to redo webbing.

No guarantee due to sinking frame that any new webbing wouldn't be shredded either. Klaussner will not fix or replace saying that warranty no longer good. 3 year old leather recliner, cost 1100.00. Falling apart.

Despicable. Frame warranty is not expired.

Want a refund. THIS WAS A SPECIAL ORDER AND WAS JAPSLAPPED TOGETHER.

You are required to sign in and then log in, fine, but you can NEVER find an email to send a question to them; WTF. I have a dresser drawer that has a safety stop which prevents me from removing it which I understand BUT sometimes you need to remove a drawer to clean it!! The screws are impossible to reach and there is if you are lucky 1 inch of room to insert some unidentified Allen wrench(?) that MIGHT be able to loosen the screw. They have NO CUSTOMER Service.

I ordered a four-piece Comfort Design/Klaussner Jesper sectional sofa months ago from Wayfair. It came with the chaise arm on the wrong side and an end sofa designed for a different model. I immediately contacted Wayfair, and I was told Jesper was discontinued. I designed an entire great room around this sofa, and I would hope Comfort Design would at least complete my order correctly. I cannot even get my phone calls returned or my emails answered.

After an exhaustive search ,we chose this Castaway power reclining sofa /loveseat by Klaussner for our home in preparation for my upcoming surgery.We trusted the "name "and very much liked to sample set we saw in the store.We have never bought cheap furniture from a "big box" store and hoped this furniture purchase would be our last . We ordered right before covid and had to wait OVER 5 months for delivery which casued me to have to postpone my surgery.I was on the phone with the retailer and sent photos the day after is arrived because after ONLY one night sitting on it ,it was clear this was NOT acceptable .The major issues are with the lack of seating support and poor quality foam - TWO main things you consider when buying a new sofa.

There is NO (or very cheap/inadequate) seating support under the foam and the foam is of a VERY poor quality you can put your hand between the cushions and pinch your fingers together. We own a very old sofa in our den and you CANNOT do that.You sink down SO far it leaves your arm at an extremely awkward and VERY uncomfortable position if you want to use the arm rest and the arm rest was one feature we very much needed. We needed to add TWO pillows on top of the seat cushion to get the right seating level/height The lower sections of the back cushions lack proper filling ,are baggy DO NOT provide the much needed lumbar support and look sloppy. In short - the furniture is VERY uncomfortable , is cheaply made, poorly crafted ,does not function properly and looks /feels terrrible.

The padding is deficient in places so the material is baggy.In one corner the dacron is coming through.and the material is "shedding" these tiny fibers everywhere .The manual loveseat will NOT hold its position .You are either all the way sitting UP or must be all the way fully laid back. It does NOT stay reclined ,so you have to push your body all the way back and hold onto the arm IF you don't want it to close .We're married 31 yrs and this is probably the cheapest ,most uncomfortable piece of furniture we have ever bought.

It is a real shame that companies will charge so much for their products and fail to deliver - to their trusting customers - the quality and performance they expect and deserve?The worst part is we NOW have to go through this stressful buying process ALL over again and NOW with the pandemic ,theres NO telling what we can buy or how long it will take ? We cannot WAIT an indefinite period of time for a replacement .WE are extremely upset at the tremendous inconvenience this has caused us We had hoped to have our home completed before the upcoming holidays AND before my surgery .We have lost all trust in the Klaussner brand and would warn anyone to steer clear and select a reputable company .VERY disappointed :(((

Estimated shipping was 12-22 weeks. If at all possible I'm requesting a fabric swatch of Houz Porcelain &;; also if you could give me a better idea on the time frame date of delivery. Thanks

Purchased the castaway 3 piece set from factory direct furniture Canada. Fabric started to have damage with tangled matt of threads where we sit after a few months.

Store owner snipped threads revealing 2 lines of backing fabric,2 days later threads continue to come out.

Store owner accused us of deliberately damaging set , then blamed pet and finally the type of clothes we wore. Contacted klaussner directly as this unscrupulous store owner cancelled our original warranty plus an extended one because the fix was too costly.

Sadly the managers of klaussner furniture agreed it was damage and therefore our fault. They forgot to say that you can't sit on it because you will damage it!

My set came from China , might want to check underneath as to where your set was made. After the fact , checked reviews on both companies and there's a recurring theme in complaints on both.

First email sent to you on 12 June 2020, We are sending this again in hopes you can respond as soon as possible to resolve this problem. We are contacting you because we are disappointed in the current condition of our new couch, mainly the cushions, how they have deteriorated with the support in such a short amount of time and are not wearing very well at all. We purchased it on 2/14/2020, and it arrived on 2/17/2020 @ around 4:00pm. We do use the couch on a daily basis, but the cushions are now, what I describe as collapsing with no support at all, and the material is folding/rippling and not laying flat. We would like to say we do really like the look and the size pf this style couch is perfect for our new condo in South Carolina. Purchased two Kamiah recliners. When delivered each had issues and within a day other issues were found. Klaussner took a week to come to home. They said they would change out all parts that were defective. Within a short time realized lumbar option was not positioned correctly as its up on the back. The cushions in both chairs are rapidly deteriorating. The chairs are so bad that neither my husband or I can set in them without being in pain after a short period of time. The chairs are now taking up space and can't be used. I contacted the main company in Asheboro, outlined my issues and sent pictures. They contacted the local store which after six weeks from delivery still stated they could fix the chairs. I ask that they pick them up as I do not want such a poor/defective product. They told me I could not return them. I stated that I can't be forced to keep defective item. Since then no more communication has been received from Klaussner.
